Breackthrough!

Very cool. Absolutely digging that background and the foreground--those smoldering embers and the patches of color delineating the details between brush, ash and variations of wood grain--very thoughtfully done! I think my favorite part about the figure is his down turned face, he almost looks like an iconic character I've never been introduced to.
